National President's Message

Fellow Foxes;

I am grateful for the opportunity you have given me to lead the College of West Africa Alumni Association, USA over the next two years. This is a critical period in both our countries and our association, but together we can shape the direction and future of this association and our beloved alma mater.

It is no doubt that the present slow economic conditions will prove to be the premier challenge in our efforts to raise finances and awareness amongst our alums and well-wisher. Nevertheless, we promise our commitment in exploring all necessary avenues in meeting these objectives. We will employ new and aggressive strategies to raise funds and awareness. Some of our strategies will include plans to immediately restructure our programs to accommodate and provide maximum enjoyment amongst all and every generation of alums and well wishers. Our efforts are intended to attract not only alums but spouses, descendants, anyone who may have attended CWA at any point or just simply admirers of the blue and white.

CWA has always produced some of the greatest minds our country has known. However, in recent years, many alumni have registered their disappointment of the deviation from the standards they once knew and enjoyed. All agree that something must be done. The truth remains it is we who must act. Much, if not all of our efforts, will be geared toward restoring those standards that made CWA what most have known it to be over its many years of existence. This can be achieved, but only through the active moral and financial support from you. If CWA must survive its place at the top it is we who must act, and act now we must.

Thanks to all who have supported our endeavors over the years. We look forward to your continuing support. We want to assure everyone that it is never too late to throw in your own support for this good cause. We want to invite our well wishers to join us in giving back to a noble Liberian institution that ultimately gives back to Liberia. Please start or continue to grace our events with your presence as we promise a new era and good fellowship. The future of CWA and Liberia is in your hand.
